So about a month ago I had this idea of doing an Easter egg hunt at the Coffee House just to get people to come to town and have some fun. Then I remembered the Lions Club already does one and honestly I wasn’t sure how to approach them about working together. But I went to one of their meetings and got welcomed in so warmly by everyone there and we figured out how to make it work together, and I thought that was really cool.
I reached out to Katie at Village Roots and she was excited about it right away too. So now it’s the three of us and I’m really proud of that.
🐰 Here’s what the day looks like
Everyone meets at the Coffee House at noon. We’ll have a photo backdrop for families (Katie is putting it together and it’s going to be great), some animals for the kids to meet, lambs, goats, and we just added an alpaca! The Easter Bunny will be there too.
At 1 pm the Lions Club takes the kids down to the park for the hunt. We’re extending our hours that day so there’s no rush, come early and hang around after.
📅 Date: Saturday, March 28th
🕛 Noon: Coffee House — animals, photos & the Easter Bunny
🕐 1 PM: Egg hunt at the park
💰 Cost: Totally free
🦙 Wait… did you say alpaca?
We did. Lambs and alpacas at the Coffee House. Sounds like a pretty normal Saturday around here. Come meet them.
I would love to see hundreds of kids show up. Genuinely. Help us get the word out, share this with anyone who has little ones or just wants a fun excuse to come to Plymouth that day. The more the merrier and this event is for everyone.
